Mish Mash was great fun to watch. A fun and engaging show for young children that uses fun games and puppetry to introduce classical music to them. This piece really incorporated the senses using vocals, confetti canons, singing and much more which really intrigued the children who remained interested and interactive throughout , desperate to have a go at each game. This piece of theatre brilliantly fitted to its target audience as well as leaving all the adults smiling too. The story introduced skills such as communication and teamwork making this an educational piece too.

 

I really liked how interactive the set was with the set pieces turning into instruments and games for the children. I also liked how the puppet was able to interact with the sitting atop the simple yet extremely effective buildings. I really liked how objects could be hidden behind these integrating them further into the story.

Overall I really enjoyed watching this piece of children's theatre. It was clear all those involved were having a fantastic time making the experience even more pleasing to watch.
