Creating a mood board

In our first session our goal was to create a mood board around Alice in Wonderland. We looked at how to select high quality images, how to place them into photoshop, how to select them, crop them and resize them as well as how to save our finished products. My knowledge and experience in photoshop is very narrow so many of these tools and techniques were new to me and extremely helpful to learn about.

Creating a character board

In our second session we were developing the skills we learnt during our earlier session and creating a more specific character board. We spent the lesson exploring a range of ways to separate objects from their backgrounds, looking at the magic wand and the object select tool and the. I then used these skills to begin to create this character board based on the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.

Legally Blonde Set

In our final session we learnt how to create this set design for Legally Blonde, looking at colouring objects, moving images and creating lighting and shadows within Photoshop.
